Founded in 1892, Garfield is a family-owned precious metal refinery in Northeast Philadelphia, serving dental professionals throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.

Townie Choice Awards

Hosted annually by Dentaltown Magazine, the Townie Choice Awards give dental professionals the opportunity to vote for their favorite products and services – recognizing the partners that help practices run smoothly while supporting their teams and patients. The program compiles a trusted, peer-recommended list of vendors, serving as a valuable resource for both new and experienced dentists.

While the Townie Choice Awards began in 2003, the ‘Scrap Metal Refining’ category wasn’t introduced until 2011. Garfield has been honored every year since – an achievement we’re proud to uphold as the dental industry’s leading scrap refiner.
