I am a retired Navy Dentist who served 26 years. In my garage I discovered recently I still had some gold fillings I made in dental school in 1971. I requested a prepaid mailing label from Garfield and it came immediately in an email. I dropped off the prepaid mailing labeled cushioned envelope on Saturday in San Diego CA and Garfield received it on Monday in PA. The gold was refined that day and ACH payment sent. Great service! Vaughn Archie was my account rep and he did a great job from sending me a mailing label to paying out for an old necklace and tooth filling. I will definitely recommend Garfield Refining and use them again in the future! The only problem is I don't have any more gold fillings! LOL.

I had to get my old gold crown on one of my molars replaced because of gum recession. Even after using our Extended Medical it cost me a lot of money to get a new gold crown. I was pleasantly surprised that our dentist said I can get some money from Garfield Refining for my old crown. My dentist gave me a mailing package with instructions on how to do it. Got a nice sum back in two weeks time! Was a pleasant experience...fast and easy too!

Hi, my wife and I both had large sets of sterling silverware we inherited from our parents. We never used them and the kids were not interested. I started looking around at the best way to sell them. My husband had been hanging on to dental gold his parents saved. I ran into it, googled my options, and found Garfield. The process was easy peasy! This is a great place to send old gold, including gold crowns capped teeth etc and many other metals. Received great money for old fillings on my mom's old bridge. They are very nice and personable, and if you have any questions, they are fast in their response. I would recommend them very much.

I was surprised to learn of this service from my dentist. The process is so simple. If you need to have a crown replaced, just send in your old crown in a prepaid envelope supplied by the company and they will extract any metals in the crown and pay you for them. It was a really nice bonus and the entire process was very efficient and pleasant. Great experience.

Had a wonderful experience with Garfield after being given an prepaid envelope from my dentist with metal from my bridge enclosed. Following directions, I added other precious and semi precious old and broken jewelry chains and pieces. Prompt email soon followed with the information of the metals that I had submitted and the worth of those items. A check was being sent to me within a week at good market value. Could not have been an easier process - and after emailing with the family owned account manager, Mark - he was very helpful in answering further question on how to send more items. Fast, friendly service is hard to come by these days. Will continue doing business and referring their services.

I sent my scrap dental gold to Garfield for cash exchange. They have a very convenient submission process, quick response time and exchange process. I received my check within about 10 days of submitting my gold. Great email communication before sending check to verify address and name. I must admit I had my doubts about whether I would submit my recently removed gold inlay material for evaluation and reimbursement. However, my dentist provided a very handy prepaid and addressed envelope. All I had to do was fill in a few blanks, toss in my inlays, seal it up and mail it. What the heck, right?
Within a couple weeks I received an email confirming receipt of my material and providing the name of an employee contact for any questions I might have.
Next came the notice of evaluation and telling me my check was in the mail. My inlay was small, so my check is about $5, but I'll take that. It's more important to know that something I carried with me for over 40 years could be recycled . . . . better than landfill where some bird could ingest it and die. Thanks to Garfield for making it so easy and caring about the environment.
